Common questions
Why do the models disagree?
Each model is a separate forecast from a different weather service, with its own physics and its own starting data. When they agree, the forecast is more likely to hold. When they split, the app shows the whole range so you can plan for both.
Which warnings does it show?
Official warnings from national weather services, free on every plan. Choose which ones notify you under Settings > Notifications.
A widget or the Watch looks old.
Open the app once. The widgets and the Apple Watch refresh from it, and iOS limits how often they can update on their own.
How do I restore a purchase?
Go to Settings > Upgrade Plan and tap Restore Purchases. Subscriptions follow your Apple Account, not your iPhone.
How do I cancel a subscription?
Open the Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and pick ForecastSpread. Apple handles all billing and refunds (reportaproblem.apple.com).
Important
Forecasts are estimates and can be wrong, and alerts can arrive late or not at all. Don't rely on ForecastSpread for decisions about safety: follow your national weather service and local emergency officials.
